Specialty Care Programs
Bronson Home Health Care (BHHC) brings high-tech treatments, once available only in the hospital, to your home. Our hospital-based home care agency provides many specialty care programs, including:
- Cardiac and open-heart surgical care
- Orthopedic and joint replacement care
- Stroke and neurological care
- Diabetes management
- Post-surgery and wound care
- Respiratory and asthma care
These specialty programs provide a smooth transition from the hospital to home. That means you have the same high quality plan of care you had in the hospital. Our programs are developed with input from doctors, nurses, and therapists. This team approach allows the best outcomes for you.
Telemonitoring
BHHC offers in-home telemonitoring service. Telemonitoring technology is primarily used for patients with congestive heart failure, but it also can be helpful for patients with circulatory and pulmonary problems. This technology lets patients have their vital signs monitored daily in the comfort of their own homes. Within minutes, clinicians at BHHC can get readings for blood pressure, weight, blood oxygen levels, and heart rate. The monitors can transmit patients' answers to health questions about breathing difficulty, ankle swelling, difficulty sleeping, and other health issues. If the staff notices even the slightest abnormalities, they can take immediate action.
