![]() | Neil A. Johnson Vice President, Patient Care Services, Chief Nursing Officer Neil A. Johnson is responsible for the operations of medical intensive care, cardiac services, adult medical services, general medical services, critical care services, respiratory care, women’s & children’s services, surgical services, trauma & emergency care services, orthopedic & neurovascular services, house managers/bed coordinators, trauma program, surgical intensive care/TCU, stomal therapy, and burn services. Johnson joined Bronson Methodist Hospital in 2003 as director of trauma and emergency services. Prior to joining Bronson, Johnson served as administrative director of the Trauma Center Emergency Department at Wishard Health Services in Indianapolis. He also held other leadership positions during his nine-year tenure with Wishard. Johnson earned his Bachelor of Arts, Political Science/Management degree from Hanover College and his Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Indiana University as an Honors Graduate. He also holds a Masters in Science Administration from Central Michigan University. Johnson has served as a board member for Van Buren County EMS, Allegan County EMS, West Michigan Air Care, Kalamazoo County Medical Authority, and the Greater Kalamazoo United Way.
